Juice Media has just dropped its latest hilarious and scathing ‘Honest Government’ ad. Tasmanian politicians are in the firing line for their complicity with the salmon industry’s spin and lies during an environmental crisis. The PM’s motivations are clear: all major polluting industries under his government have free rein to destroy the environment.
Everything in the satirical ‘Anthony Salmonese’s kitchen’ is at risk —Tasmania’s living dinosaur, the Maugean Skate, our World Heritage Wilderness, the Australian tax payers, and even our democratic right to challenge government decisions.
“A government that was elected on a promise to strengthen environmental protections and protect our endangered species has utterly failed. It deserves to be in the firing line,” says Jess Coughlan, Campaigner at Neighbours of Fish Farming (NOFF).
“Environmental groups travelled to Canberra to witness this atrocious dismantling of our Federal environment laws—a veritable recipe for disaster. Labor and Liberal must be brought to account for what they did in Tasmania’s name.
“This is a shameless and unforgivable act of betrayal—for our generation, and those to come,” said Coughlan.
