The ABC is reporting that Sue Neill-Fraser was released from Hobart Prison today.
The convicted murderer served 13 years of her 25 year sentence for the 2009 murder of Bob Chappell.
Neill-Fraser was reportedly collected by her daughters and taken to an undisclosed location.
The terms of her parole are unknown, however the ABC said they believed that she was forbidden from speaking to the media.

Will we ever get to the bottom of this trial and conviction?
That is a great unknown, though it is likely that sometime down the track the family will write its account of what occurred, followed by Ms Neill-Fraser’s media response once her parole period is completed.
There is no scope here to comment on the trial, though it has all the hallmarks of a Lindy Chamberlain botched prosecution.
Time may tell.

In its law degree, a Victorian University uses this case as the prime example of a complete injustice, from Police, forensic analysis, and DPP to Judge.
Embarrassing and unsavory, Tassie!
