Vigils are being planned across the country in memory of Melbourne comedian Eurydice Dixon.
Jaymes Todd, 19, was charged with rape and murder after Dixon’s body was found in Princes Park in Carlton last week. More than 11,000 people have indicated they plan to attend a vigil in Princes Park today, while 15 other vigils have been planned around Victoria and in venues interstate. Organiser Megan Bridger-Darling told the ABC the vigil was “a way of saying this is our park and we feel safe here, this is our soccer pitch … and you can’t take that away through fear” …
