Tasmanian Times – pure Tasmaniana with all the verve and splendour of the roaring 40s! No ‘free trial’ teasers as subscription bait or stories that disappear behind a paywall not long after they have been published. In the interests of informing public debate, Tasmanian Times content has always been free and always will be.
Running a website and associated activities is not without costs. There’s everything from computers and related equipment, web hosting (our archive is 60,000 pages!), design updates to keep pace with latest tech and security issues, training of volunteers, telephone, accountancy costs, travel and numerous other minor items. It all adds up.
