This month will see a feature marketing conference in Launceston for “future-focused brands.”
Agency AT+M Marketing has launched the inaugural ‘Tomorrow Conference’ to be held at Tramsheds Function Centre on Monday 16 June and Tuesday 17 June 2025.
Organisers say they expect the premium event “to impress delegates with its prestigious line-up of speakers” hailing from Tasmanian, Australian and international brands.
“We are so excited to be including speakers from a range of industries and sectors – there is truly something for everyone!” said Amanda McEvoy, General Manager of AT+M Marketing.
“Whether they’re a marketing professional in a small-to-medium enterprise, or hold a senior management role, or they’re a small business owner, our guests set to gain incredible tips that they can actually take back to work with them.”
Headlining acts include Cameron Adams, Co-Founder and CPO at Canva, internationally-renowned design SaaS, in conversation with wife Lisa Miller (formerly Head of Product at Canva), Founder/CEO of Wedgetail, the Tasmanian-based sustainable investment company.
Kathryn McCann, General Manager Marketing, Public Affairs + Social Impact at Tasmania Football Club will be in conversation with Jess Radford, Acting CEO of Brand Tasmania. Ben Lovitt, Vice President Marketing at SharkNinja – the home and kitchen appliance makers and current sponsors of Bellerive Oval.
Other presenters of note include Andrew Snowball, General Manager of Amer Sports (parent company of brands such as Salomon, Wilson, Arc’teryx) and Laura McBain, former CEO of Bellamy’s Organic and recipient of the Telstra Australian Business Woman of the Year.
The program includes multiple panel discussions, one of which features four local strategists – a nod to the thriving local business community. Another panel features executives who’ll discuss their experience scaling not only their business but their loyal customer bases.
Tomorrow Conference is sponsored by over 15 local and interstate businesses.
“We’re incredibly grateful to all the sponsors who are supporting us in our first year. Thanks to their generosity and support, we are able to make what was a big dream transform into a reality this June!” said McEvoy.
“Of course, we can’t wait for the event itself. We’re also really looking forward to seeing how the conference directly benefits the local economy. Not only does it attract visitors from interstate to Tasmania, but it reinstates Launceston as a hub of innovative activity – and that is so exciting.”
Helping make the conference available to those who are students of marketing and business, Tomorrow Conference has allocated a limited number of tickets at discounted rates to students.
In addition, all proceeds will be donated to St Vincent de Paul Society’s Vinnies CEO Sleepout – an initiative that aims to bring awareness and resources to those disadvantaged by homelessness in the wider Australian community.
Interested participants can head to the website tomorrowconference.com.au to find out more information and to purchase tickets.
