Authorised YES and NO cases live on the AEC website
See aec.gov.au/referendums/
The AEC certifies that the ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ cases published on our website today are the authorised submissions. These cases have been uploaded as they have been received, without any formatting or editing by the AEC. They have been authorised by a majority of members of Parliament who voted for and against the proposed law, respectively.
We will be using these authorised submissions for the process of translation as well as the typesetting for printing and physical distribution of the Yes/No pamphlet to all households. The typeset version will be uploaded on the AEC website when it is available and at that point will replace these versions.
There is only one official yes and one official no case that will be included in the pamphlet. The AEC website is the authoritative source for these final, authorised ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ cases.
