Looking at recent events one could conclude that the Attorney General Elise Archer has zero empathy, holds negative responsibility in the Rockliff Government and is under the control of the Pentacostal Priest Hillsong Fergie (Michael Ferguson).
The pair were first ‘outed’ publicly when they put together a leadership bid in January 2020 following the resignation of Premier Will Hodgman. Their bid was withdrawn at the last minute when it was clear they didn’t have the numbers, thus elevating Peter Gutwein to Premier and Jeremy Rockliff to Deputy Premier.
A while back I posted this relating to the Waratah Reservoir: EricA Arboretum – Tasmanian Times.
In this article I made it clear that Archer singularly decided that the Waratah Reservoir had no heritage value despite it being inherent to the first street lighting in Australia and the primary source of power to the richest tin mine in the world in the early 20th century.
And why – because Minister Ferguson was the head honcho of TasWater as the Minister of State Growth and rejected the need for the Reservoir to be maintained. Well may we ask, was she under his control?
And now in the midst of the Commission of Inquiry into abuse at Ashley Youth Detention Centre and Launceston General Hospital she is at again seemingly under the same instructor – do nothing, just appear thoughtful. Look at this example from her FB page:
It was my pleasure to help launch the National Mental Health Month in Tasmania today for Mental Health Foundation A…
So, I commented:
Have you done anything related to those mistreated at #AYDC and #LGH and you will continue to ignore #Alysha and #Azra? and #Tiffany and #Ben and the #COI?
And the delightful AG responded with:
“I’ll certainly pass this on to the correct Minister.”
Roll up folks for the #politas Daylight Savings period’s newest sport, correct Minister (or is that Yes, Minister?).
For new players, let me remind you that Elise Archer is in fact the sworn:
Minister for Workplace Health and Safety
Minister for Justice
Minister overseeing the Commission of Inquiry
Minister overseeing Office of the Solicitor General
All of these oversights are directly relevant to the issues raised, of which she surely cannot be oblivious.
But it is not my responsibility.

Little wonder she reminds me of Cruella de Vil and clearly still under the influence of el Superman Fergie.
