Tasmania’s newest festival, Pangaea, is seeking expressions of interest for those keen to participate.
Pangaea is set to be ‘a festive adventure’ over 3 nights and 2.5 days camping in lutruwita/Tasmania’s south-east, on 11-14 February 2022.
“Our vision is to unite people in celebration and knowledge sharing through music, arts, culture, and sustainability,” said fFstival Director Alison McCrindle.
She said that Pangaea will operate under a sustainability framework by implementing a circular economy system.
“We understand the environmental, social and economic crisis our planet, people and communities are enduring, and that it is set to worsen as we breach planetary boundaries causing more heating of the earth’s temperatures,” McCrindle said.
“It is our mission to be a solutions focused and inclusive festival by spreading positivity, encouraging participation, collaboration and learning, and ultimately helping to mainstream sustainable living.”
