‘The Pulp’ at Burnie was in full swing in 1956 when this documentary was made.
It shows the whole process of logging, pulping, reforestation, making fine writing and greaseproof wrapping papers, Burnie board and other pulp products at the Australian Pulp and Paper Mill: “one of the commonwealth’s greatest and most efficient industries.”
