William Boeder February 20, 2019 at 12:47 pm Russell, the unfolding of the causes for the indifference directed by this current leadership government to Australia’s Murray and Darling River System, is that many people have woken up to the strategies of the current leadership Liberal government, though this awakedness is yet to recognise the specific causal reasons for not enough to cause change. Currently Australia’s Liberal politicians are resorting to lies being issued to account for the dishonest activities in the Liberal ranks. All that hum buggery is duly accepted by the Australian major mainstream media news sources as credible, then published to stave off further suspicions. It is to be understood that all the ministers and Senators that were a part of the rogue and rodent Liberal Prime Minster John “Fibber” Howard’s government are well acquainted with, and have possibly undergone skills training to perfect the art of creating false headline news stories. The main support base for those who issue false and misleading media releases are generally their own party colleagues, or at worst by employing taxpayer funded consultancies to provide their ‘power of suggestion’ mellowing hype as a means of reducing the stab or the thrust of accusations upon the stealth merchant ministers and senators within the direction-less Liberal party. Returning back to the era of the MIS scammery, the Federal government had liaised with State government authorities that had resulted in the sell off of more water volume irrigation rights than flowed down the once mighty Murray River. A visit by myself and a former bride to the rural town of Echuca (positioned on the Victorian State side of the border) circa late 1990s early 2000s (Howard years) presented the Murry River as little more than a hollowed out channel with a number of shallow ponds occupying its length until a tributary river was able to enter into the depleted Murray River channel. In effect the Howard led Liberals were acting contrary to the Murray River’s importance all those years ago, so the latest revelations about mega Liberal party sycophants (cotton growers, Rice growers et al, and add to that the newly establishing MIS Nut farms, Olive-tree farms etc) were engaged in the siphoning off of great volumes of water from the sources of the Darling River system, particularly during flood year seasons over the recent years, and despite theft charges having been laid against some that were openly stealing water resources. The links below will substantiate a number of the contentions contained in this comment. This is as good as factual evidence. The Liberal party had continued to engage in their usual stealthy deceptions, and more often they having disguised themselves as being a wonderful primary industry supportive government. (Know them for the history of their glut greed and their morally reprehensible traits and purposes.) https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2018/apr/09/one-of-queenslands-largest-irrigators-expected-to-be-charged-with https://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-12-20/littleproud-appointment-a-one-finger-salute-weatherill-says/9276210 The whole of the foundations underlying the Australian Liberal party is little other than a huge compendium of perpetrated lies and deceptions. For those seeking further information, the history of Cubbie Station, over the border in Queensland, is another demonstration of the covered-up criminal activity permitted by this same Federal Liberal party government. Pete Godfrey February 18, 2019 at 2:25 pm These scientists are dreaming. Our politicians have told us that it is nothing to do with irrigators taking the water out of the rivers. One would have to be an idiot to believe a politician these days. They have No Credibility, No Scruples, No Standards. Just Greed .. and the Joy of working for their political donors.
