Brett Neal ran as a candidate in the recent start election and is a well-respected local farmer in the seat of Braddon. He is a third-generation farmer from Yolla and has been a farmer all his life.
The SFFP team and the voters of Braddon will support Brett to continue to fight to protect and promotion of his local Braddon community, to care for people and reconnect the wider community with their local farmers and producers.
Brett said “Regional and remote Tasmanians are regularly ignored by inner city politics, and I will be there supporting regional and rural Tasmanians”
He further reinforced this by adding “Regional and rural areas need improved and other basic services. You only have to look at the many mobile black spots, let alone reliable internet services and the cost of living to see every day Tasmanians are being left behind.
This constant ignorance from the major parties has to stop; regional and rural Tasmanians and local businesses are the backbone of this state and deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.
As this is a federal by-election Brett Neal has also received Federal Executive endorsement and support.
