Treasurer Peter Gutwein has refused public sector workers’ requests to meet and discuss the Government’s 2% wage cap policy and its effect on their ability to meet rising costs of living.

Public sector workers Ben McGregor and Coral Aynton feel insulted by the Treasurer’s response and won’t take no for an answer.

The workers will be attempting to walk into Parliament to visit the Treasurer anyway at 11:45am on Tuesday, 12 June.
