Re: Courtney Dodges Question on Mass Salmon Escape and Seal Deaths

Dear Sally McManus and loyal comrades. Please read ALL 21 Tasmanian Times comments.

As new ACTU Secretary, you must be alerted and alarmed with recent revelations on Tasmanian Times, that the Spirit of Tasmania vessels are under investigation and external scrutiny and expose’ for the following health and safety risks to animal and human health:

The death of 18 prized polo horses. The cluster of premature deaths and chronic disease to MUA workers exposed to Diesel Particulate Matter DPM.

Torren McMaster claims he has evidence of 1,000ppm being recorded on those (toxic?) ships. Minimum levels are 400ppm.

Torren also claims his Union, The MUA, have avoided and neglected their duty-of-care obligations for a decade or more.

There is also the yet to be exposed, detectable risk of asbestos contamination and other foreign particles that current workers are exposed to.

Tasmanian Primary Industries Minister, Sarah Courtney, refuses and denies to release the secret autopsy results.

Is the ACTU and their affiliates willing and able to provide Mr McMaster and his family with real help, legal and physical protection from any further sanctioned reprisals, grievous harm (meaning any harm) or overt and covert threats and intimidation? Can the ACTU investigate who gave the wicked orders to shoot at his home at 2am?
All on CCTV…Who gave the orders? Who? Exactly why this brutal Country needs Federal Whistleblower Protection Laws.

Torren will be seeking a personal (in good faith) meeting with you Sally, in the very near future. Please don’t turn your back on him, again.
