I attach a briefing paper concerning the recent appeal in the case of Derek Bromley who is still in prison after 35 years.

The decision of the Court of Criminal Appeal in this case is quite astonishing.

It is a matter of great concern, not only in relation to the new right of appeal, but to criminal appeals more generally.
