Lord Nelson Three Sheets
Sydney NSW | 4.9% alcohol
This delectable drop comes from the brewery inside one of Sydney’s most popular watering holes — the Lord Nelson in the city’s historic Rocks precinct.
It is mid-tan colour and slightly cloudy, something that the boys at Coopers will assure you is no barrier to either quality or popularity.
The aroma is quite robust and fruity, with lots of hops overlaying malt.
There’s quite a lot of richness to the palate, and the richness builds as the beer warms up a bit. While it’s not a beer you’d want to drink at room temperature, it’s not one that will deliver its full spectrum of flavours at a standard 4ºC Australian fridge temperature either.
