The pretence that he is different to the Old Order when he seems exactly the same, the slow revelation of the same old cosy relationships and abuses of power, the strange blind refusal to see that the answer to the growing mess we are in is simply to repeat the same old behaviour, replicates Sarah Palin — who pretends to be a maverick when she is even more of the same.
