The Brighton Robins Football Club and Karana Netball Club have jointly confirmed that both clubs will unite under the new entity of the Brighton Robins Sports Club Inc

“The club, and more importantly, the Brighton community are growing, and we want to be known as the biggest and best sporting club in Tasmania.”

“Karana celebrated our 60th year in 2024,” she said. “We believe that being part of the new Brighton Sports Club is a really exciting opportunity to set us up to be successful for the next 60 years.”
Netball Tasmania CEO Mitchell Coulson confirmed that the amalgamation had the blessing of Netball Tasmania.
“There are plenty of examples of the fantastic potential that can be unlocked when community focused sporting clubs choose to collaborate and work together,” he said.
“We look forward to supporting Karana through this exciting phase which will see much greater engagement for netball in the Brighton community.”
