Announcement – The Tree Projects, 23 April 2023

Tasmania’s Forest Carbon

On Wednesday night we launched our new documentary titled Tasmania’s Forest Carbon to a packed audience at the State Cinema in Hobart. The film outlines the findings from our ground-breaking Forest Carbon report released last year, which found that native forest logging is the highest emitting sector in Tasmania. We have lots more screenings to announce, plus a special tag along tour to the Styx Valley, to visit the site where ‘The Giants’ was filmed.

We are excited to announce some new screenings of our Tasmania’s Forest Carbon documentary. Each screening will feature a Q and A session with the producers and creators Dr Jennifer Sanger and Steve Pearce, along with other experts.
