The Rise is a new theatrical work presented by PLoT Theatre Company. It will premiere this month at Moonah Arts Centre in Hobart.

PLoT describe The Rise as “a rousing anthology of four new, short plays.”

It is produced by PLoT and written by four young, emerging Tasmanian playwrights.

They say that The Rise “boldly examines life in the 21st century with magic realism, biting irony and brutal honesty.”
