Youth Week Tasmania – Youth Next Gen!
Youth Week Tasmania 2022 is set to be an exciting week, with this year’s campaign and activities co-designed by young people, for young people.
Tasmania’s largest celebration of young people kicks off today, with new and exciting events planned across the State.
With events running from Monday, 4 April – Sunday, 10 April, young people will have the chance to attend youth markets, art festivals, movie nights, live music events, laser tag, silent discos and more.
CEO Tania Hunt said Youth Week Tasmania encourages young people to celebrate being a young person in Tasmania through participating in one of the many events on offer.
“Youth Week Tasmania is about having fun, meeting new people and enjoying new activities and experiences”. Ms Hunt said.
“This year’s theme ‘Youth: Next Gen’ was chosen by young people to celebrate and recognise the next generation of young Tasmanians – young leaders, changemakers, influencers and visionaries who are shaping our State”.
“Importantly, Youth Week Tasmania provides an opportunity to acknowledge the significant contributions that young Tasmanians make in our communities and to showcase their talents and skills”.
