The Verandah Music Festival showcases fun and funky music performed live on verandahs throughout the picturesque village of Evandale in northern Tasmania.
Performances take place at Festival HQ (Main Stage), 9 High St Evandale and at designated verandahs within walking distance around the historic precinct of Evandale.
Attendees must first come to Festival HQ to register and collect a wristband and program. Inside the program is a map showing the verandah locations and a schedule of the performances.
Tickets are available online through TryBooking. As a volunteer run, community festival, Verandah are able to keep costs low, so tickets will again be just$10 per day (plus a small booking fee).
A very limited number of tickets will also be available at the gate, but it is recommended to book online to make sure you don’t miss out.

How it all began…
The genesis of the Verandah Music Festival was in March & April 2020, when Tasmania was experiencing its only COVID lockdown. Partly inspired by images of people singing on balconies in Europe, two Evandale families took to their own verandahs to lift the spirits of people passing by.
The easing of restrictions was celebrated with extra musicians and a small but appreciative audience. This led to the idea of a festival where all the music is played on the gorgeous verandahs that are dotted all around the village.
