I’m excited…

Tomorrow night I’m boarding the Spirit of Tasmania for a 10 day tour to launch our Tasmanian State party to contest the 2018 State election.

It’s time to reboot Tasmanian politics by offering something different – common sense from the political centre.

Together, let’s shake up Tasmanian politics and make sure that key issues such as planning, jobs, transport and foreign ownership receive the attention they deserve.

And of course, we’ll be fighting the greed-driven myth pushed by big property developers and lazy governments that population growth is necessary for economic prosperity. Sadly, no party is currently standing up against this myth in Tasmania.

Even more sadly, no party is standing up to protect Tasmania’s environment and quality of life from the big party push for rapid population growth.

My tour will include social launch events in both Launceston and Hobart, stops in a range of regional towns, media promotions, a membership drive, State committee formalisation, street campaigning, and more…
