Nine months on and still no Brooks email audit
Nine months since Premier promised audit
Tasmanians still no closer to finding out what was in the emails
Will the issue be dealt with before the next election?
It’s nine months since Premier Will Hodgman promised an audit into the business email account of disgraced former Mining Minister Adam Brooks.
Shadow Treasurer Scott Bacon said it’s now beyond a joke.
“The Premier’s credibility is on the line,” Mr Bacon said.
“It was Will Hodgman who promised an audit into the email account and told Tasmanians it would only take a matter of weeks to complete.
“It’s now more than eight months overdue.
“Is the Premier’s word worth nothing?
“When will the audit finally be completed? Exactly what is holding it up?
“Can Will Hodgman guarantee the audit will be completed before the next election? If not, will he endorse Adam Brooks with a cloud hanging over his head?
