Tassal welcomes Okehampton Bay farm approval, ‘not proud’ of Macquarie Harbour pollution
Tassal has welcomed the approval of a new salmon farm on Tasmania’s east coast while saying it is not proud of its role in polluting Macquarie Harbour.
An independent review panel rejected arguments against the proposal that the water in the bay was too hot and too shallow for fish farming.
