Letter to the Editor on the government

Dear Sir/Madam,

Is it any wonder that Australia struggles when we have Politicians who do not fully represent the people’s needs.

It seems that this current Government knows no other way of lowering the Nation’s debt by increasing and creating more Tax grabs.

Begin saving, not Taxing, reduce the cost of Governing the Country starting at the top.

If it were a Company it would downsize, not increase.

I would like the Media to get a true cost of what the cost is to run the Country.

The cost of perks beyond a MPs time in office (it was noticeable that the Government were not going to see an end to the PERKS and have left it until after the current long break Politicians get
over the Christmas Period.

Was this so many could continue enjoying the Perks – Travel/cars etc.?

The same applies to State Government and Governor Generals.

With a small Population how come we need such a large amount of people to run it.

Stop increasing the number of Taxes, and accordingly those on Low Pensions build in a cost of living adjustment.

I repeat again reduce the running costs Governing and stop robbing the poor.

If they do not I see more of what has transpired in the USA happening here in Australia.
