Have your say on Launceston Metro review
The Hodgman Liberal Government is committed to improving public transport to better meet the needs of Tasmanians.
To that end, I encourage all Launceston residents to have their say on Metro’s Launceston Network review before it closes for public consultation this week.
This review is the first for the Launceston area since 2007, and feedback from residents will help Metro make the best decisions possible on how public transport can best benefit all who need it.
The proposed network changes include a more consistent departure times, buses in more areas including the Launceston General Hospital, and scheduled routes that will minimise waiting times.
Feedback closes on 11 November 2016. Comment can be provided by filling out the online form at metrotas.com.au
