Law Society congratulates new Chief Magistrate
The Law Society of Tasmania today extends its warm congratulations to Ms Catherine Rheinberger who has been appointed as the new Chief Magistrate for Tasmania.
The President of the Society, Rohan Foon said
“Ms Rheinberger was extremely well regarded in her position as senior Crown Counsel before she was first appointed as a Magistrate in 2009.
As a Magistrate based in the South, she is very highly regarded as a fine and fair Magistrate. I have no doubt that she will bring those qualities to the role as Chief Magistrate.”
