Posted on

Race 3 – TASSI CLASSIC is just a few weeks away (17th and 18th September).

It’s the club’s last race of the very successful 2016 season and this one is going to be HUGE, with both local and mainland competitors racing.

Race 3 will be offering the following classes:

1, 2/3, 4 dog open
Novice / Junior / 1 and 2 dog touring
Bikejoring
Canicross (including junior Canicross)
PeeWees / Mini PeeWees

Race 3 will be held in the beautiful forest of North Western Tasmania at Beulah, just a short 40 minute drive from Devonport. Camping will be available just 2km drive from the race site.

The club is also delighted to announce that E’vette Levett, a Victorian Musher who brings with her many years of experience and knowledge, will be Race Marshal for the event.

The committee would love to see old and new faces at the race, even if it’s just for spectating this incredible sport. There are classes to suit the competitive to those that just wish to go for a run with their dogs at their own pace.

There will be equipment available on the weekend to loan including harnesses and scooters.

This is a fun, family friendly club and is open to all breeds of dogs who love to run.
