Good News For A Change

The good news today is that the Labor Party and Greens in the Scottish Parliament have voted to BAN fracking.

Around the world other countries and also states in the USA have voted unanimously to ban fracking for gas and oil and have passed legislation to that effect.

The mindset of humanity and governments is changing fast, as the harm from fossil fuels is now undeniable.

The Victorian government supports renewable energy, so it is a logical step to ban fracking and set up a booming economy based on clean technology. This is what Germany has done, and it now exports electricity to other countries. In Germany many thousands of jobs have been created due to the switch to renewables.

Come on Mr. Daniel Andrews and the Labour Party, you will be our heroes if you lead Victoria to a ban on gas mining, though the Coalition (which should be known as the Coal-Alition) will hate you.

If the Coal-Alition had had forethought and wisdom, they would have subsidised factories in Geelong to make electric cars that run on solar energy, rather than letting the car manufacturers go overseas.

It is not so difficult: One man whom I know in Warrnambool converted a BMW car to run on solar and it took only six weeks. He now runs his entire company and his house on solar energy.

There are so many ways we could convert new technology to bring jobs to Victoria. We need to be the state with real innovation!
