Appointment of Parole Board Chairperson
The Tasmanian Government is pleased to announce Greg Geason has been appointed as Chairperson of the Parole Board.
Mr Geason is a legal practitioner with over 25 years’ experience in civil and criminal matters and has served on the board since 2014.
He brings considerable knowledge and experience to the position, having held the positions of Chairperson of the Resource Management & Planning Appeals Tribunal, President of the Law Society of Tasmania, member of the Local Government Association of Tasmania Standards Panel and member of the University of Tasmania Law Faculty Teaching & Learning Committee, among many others.
