Increasing transparency through the gifts register
Today the Government tabled the annual gifts register.
Government policy requires that all gifts received by Ministers over the value of $50 be disclosed.
For the first time, the Government is also disclosing gifts in the form of tickets to various sporting and cultural events.
Under previous Governments, even though they were received, these gifts were not declared.
This is another part of the Hodgman Liberal Government’s commitment to increased transparency.
