Upcycling Round Robin We’ll bring 1950’s resourcefulness to you!

Posted on

Want to learn new skills and explore your creative talents? Come to our Upcycling Round Robin – a resourcefully fun session with several hands-on activities running simultaneously for your upcycling pleasure…including knitting, hand weaving, spinning and dyeing.

“Try different upcycling activities – there’ll be dye pots on the boil, and woollen wear in need of repair. We will show you how to artfully darn it back to beauty or if it is beyond repair you can learn to unpick it and knit it into a new life.” said Lissa Villeneuve, Festival Director.

“Learn to cleanse, cut and weave the food packets you would normally put into your rubbish bin into a beautiful new bangle.”

“There may be felting, weaving and whatever else we get inspired by too!” continued Lissa Villeneuve.

Facilitators include:
Megan Bayliss, The Junk Wave
Kate Fletcher, Warriors of Cloth
Chanchal Foxen, Hand weavers, Spinners & Dyers Guild.
