TI chief farewelled
The Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association wishes Tasmanian Irrigation Chief Executive Chris Oldfield all the best for his new role as Australian Consul-General and Senior Trade Commissioner in San Francisco.
TFGA CEO Peter Skillern said that the appointment was a reflection of Mr Oldfield’s ability and success in his career.
“Chris will undoubtedly bring a great deal of business experience and acumen, coupled with his industry knowledge, to his new role,’’ Mr Skillern said.
“On behalf of our members we would like to thank him for his commitment to the Tasmanian farming community, including his tenure as CEO of the TFGA; and for his efforts and hard work in establishing and expanding significant irrigation infrastructure under the auspices of Tasmanian Irrigation.”
