This year we are pleased to announce a new charity partner for the event, Mr Sargent said.

“We are very mindful that here in Tasmania we have the second highest rates of suicide in the nation, double our state road toll,

“Our Rotary Club was keen to do something about it, Mr Sargent said.

“That is why we are proud to announce that this year’s Tour will support a great Tasmanian suicide prevention charity, Rural Alive and Well or RAW.

“RAW provides rural outreach services to almost 2000 clients across the state and provide a much needed 24hour 7 day a week service, Mr Sargent said.

“We are so pleased to be associated with the Le Tour de Norfy Challenge according to RAW CEO, Mr Danial Rochford.

“RAW is proud to be helping save lives each and every day and the promotion and support from partnering with this event is both immeasurable and immense,

“We are so keen to promote active and connected communities and we believe the Le Tour de Norfy Challenge is a perfect example, Mr Rochford said.
