Vanessa Goodwin needs to act on Risdon Prison security concerns
Serious issues at Risdon Prison clearly demonstrate something is going wrong and Attorney General Vanessa Goodwin needs to take responsibility.
“Security concerns at Risdon Prison should now be addressed directly by Ms Goodwin,” Ms Ogilvie said.
“There is no doubt that prison officers are working in a difficult environment and they are doing the best they can.
“It is up to Ms Goodwin to restore community confidence in the system instead of sitting on her hands.”
