AUSTRALIAN LEADERSHIP CONSULTANCY NGS GLOBAL TO HEAD RECRUITMENT FOR TOP FIJI CIVIL SERVANTS

A global search is underway for roles at the highest echelons of the Fijian civil service
as part of the Government’s public sector renewal.

Elite Australian executive search and recruitment firm, NGS Global, was appointed
last month to lead the recruitment process for up to 21 Permanent Secretaries (PSs).

The Chairman of the Fiji Public Service Commission (PSC), said the Government was
embarking on “an extensive and robust campaign to recruit the most competent and
meritorious candidates for the various Permanent Secretary positions”.

“A highly regarded recruitment Company, NGS Global Pty Ltd. from Australia has
been engaged to assist the Commission in the recruitment,” Mr Mohan said.

“We have completed the compilation of Permanent Secretary roles, qualification
requirements and selection criteria to ensure that the best candidates are appointed
for these most senior executive positions in the Fijian civil service,” Mr Mohan said.

NGS Global Managing Partner, Dr Marianne Broadbent, said the recruitment would
span local and overseas markets including Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and
the UK as well the broader Pacific and Asian regions.

“In line with the PSC’s program to strengthen public service delivery, our focus is to

The closing date for applications is 11 October 2015. The Government hopes to offer
contracts to successful candidates by end of the year.
