Premier Will Hodgman should release the legislation that he claims will secure future Commonwealth funding.

Labor Leader Bryan Green said the Premier was desperately trying to appear to be doing something ahead of the COAG leaders’ retreat.

“If Mr Hodgman has draft legislation he should release it so that all Tasmanians can understand what he is proposing on their behalf.

“Until then, this is nothing more than another thought bubble.

“The time has come for Mr Hodgman to prove he is not just all talk.

“If Mr Hodgman doesn’t return from the COAG leaders’ retreat with the $2.1 billion taken away from Tasmania he will have failed.

“Will Hodgman and Peter Gutwein have built great expectation about getting the money back and securing future funding agreements so they must deliver.”
