Many common weeds are edible, free and can provide nutrient dense food to supplement your diet. However, harvesting weeds requires proper identification and certainty about potential environmental contaminants to ensure that foraging is safe. Hear weed specialist, Paulette Whitney talk about wonderful weeds and learn about edible weeds and how chefs prepare them as well as some of the ecological uses of weeds as soil improvers, soil indicators and compost additives.
