A controversial new documentary by Australia’s two time Academy Award nominee, David Bradbury, will be screened in Melbourne at the Cinema Nova for a special one night only ‘Meet the Filmmaker’ event on Thursday, March 19.

Responding to the perfect storm of endless wars, climate change and the global surveillance state, David investigates today’s peace activists as they target the powerful corporations who profit by war and influence Australia’s participation in international military campaigns.

David challenges the deepest of our cultural assumptions about war and Australia’s history in the 100th year anniversary of the ANZAC landing – one of the campaigns which gained public support through the promise WW1 was “the war to end all wars”.

David is available this week to discuss his new film in the context of the multi-award winning career as a documentary filmmaker investigating the submerged truths and consequences of war for Australia.
