The Hodgman Liberal Government is committed to supporting economic growth and prosperity through developing the skills of Tasmanians.
The 2015 Tasmanian Leaders Program was launched in Hobart today. The program promotes and develops business and community leaders, creating significant future benefits for both individual participants and the whole state.
The Tasmanian Leaders Program was established in 2007 and is running its ninth program in 2015.
A group of 24 participants with high leadership potential has been selected for the 2015 intake in a highly competitive process. Participants are deliberately selected from diverse backgrounds to come together regularly over a ten-month period to cultivate a range of skills crucial to leaders.
The Tasmanian Leaders Program includes participants from the public and private sectors, large and small enterprises, advocacy groups, community organisations and volunteer organisations.
It fosters the capacity of participants to learn and engage across a broad range of issues relevant to Tasmania’s future.
The Government strongly supports the program as part of our investment in skills for growth and our commitment to ensure Tasmanians have the best possible training and employment opportunities.
