Labor Leader Bryan Green will this week be joined by his parliamentary colleagues on a comprehensive tour of Tasmania.

Labor’s ‘Big Red Bus Tour’ will not only be the debut of the ALP’s newest member (the big red bus!) but an important chance for MPs to listen to Tasmanians on a wide range of issues.

“This week is a great opportunity for the Labor team to engage with as many people as possible,” Mr Green said.

“We’ll be visiting community groups and businesses to hear their stories first-hand.

“It’s also a terrific chance to encourage Tasmanians to join the party, in the face of harsh cuts to services from the Liberals both here and in Canberra.”

The tour starts on Monday in Sorell and will include visits to Triabunna, Swansea, St Helens, Scottsdale, George Town, Launceston, Cressy, Devonport, Burnie, Smithton, Bushy Park, New Norfolk and Claremont.

Members of the media are welcome to join the tour, please call Alex Johnston (0407522737) to organise opportunities.

Scheduled media events will be held throughout the week, starting in Sorell on Monday morning.
