Le Tour De Norfy Challenge 2014

The Claremont Rotary Club advise that as part of its funding raising for this year they are again holding Le Tour De Norfy Cycle Challenge to raise funds to help support Rotary’s projects. .

Craig Stringer, President of Claremont Rotary Club said “This is one of the many community events undertaken by Claremont Rotary Club each year to raise money to support Rotary Projects.”

Mr Stringer said “He was would be pleased to see as many of our Tasmanian cyclists take up the challenge this year as we have introduced a new ride distance of 144 Kilometres along with the 38, 76 and 106 kilometre distances around the picturesque Derwent Valley.”

Mr Stringer said “He challenged businesses to enter a team as part of a team building exercise and even be competitive with another business to see whose riders finish first.”

Mr Stringer said “There will be drink stations along the course and first aid available should anyone get injured. There will also be a BBQ at the end of ride and spot prises on the day.”

The fund raising ride will be held on Sunday 26 October 2014 and is open to all riders from the age of 13 onwards. The rides will start from Kensington Park New Norfolk with registration starting at 8.30am. Receive a discount entry fee by entering on line now at www.claremontrotary.org.au
