Kalis Group has confirmed that the Icon Complex development continues to be on target for
Stage 1 (Myer Liverpool St) to open before Christmas 2015. The Hutchinson Tower Crane
will become a consistent presence in the Hobart city skyline for the next 4-5 years as the
Icon Complex is constructed in Hobart’s CBD.

Hutchinson Builders is primarily using Tasmanian subcontractors in the development of
Hobart’s premier retail destination. Following Stage 1 of Myer Liverpool Street opening in
December 2015, Stage 2 development works on Murray Street will commence with a target
completion date of mid-2017. Once the first two stages are complete, development works on
the third stage including a proposed hotel and rooftop bar will start.
