What’s happening to our Urban Natural Areas …
… and what can we do about it?
A talk and discussion with Bob Holderness-Roddam M. Env. Mgmt.
At the Philip Smith Centre, 2 Edward
Street, Glebe
Wednesday 20 August 2014
At 7:00 pm
Cost: Gold coin to help cover room hire.
Our urban natural areas, those isolated fragments of bush in our cities
and suburbs, or at their edges, are very important for a number of
reasons. Unfortunately, they are under threat from surrounding
developments. This session will set out some of the issues and then
invite participants to discuss some of the options.
Bob Holderness-Roddam has a particular interest in our urban natural
areas. He has a Masters degree in Environmental Management and is
an Associate with the School of Land and Food at the University of
Tasmania.
