Liberals bluffing their way through Government

Labor Leader Bryan Green today accused the Liberal Government of trying to bluff its way through Government.

“Will Hodgman continues to celebrate the Liberals election victory but his Government has actually achieved nothing,” Mr Green said.

“The Liberals are rejoicing that they have been in Government for 141 days but cannot point to a single initiative of their own.

“Mr Hodgman and his colleagues are quick to take credit for any positive news but the reality is that none of it is of the Liberals making.

“It has been a long honeymoon for the Liberal Government and there is certainly no cause for celebration.

“Whenever the Liberals were put under pressure today, the speaker threatened to suspend question time.

“What they have done is perfect the art of political subterfuge and they are being found out.

“Depsite telling the people of Tasmania before the election that they had all the answers, the Liberals have become bogged down in a quagmire of taskforces, working groups, committees and issues papers.

“This clearly demonstrates the Liberals have no ideas of their own.”
