Sea Shepherd flagship, The Steve Irwin, set to arrive in Launceston
Steve Irwin during Operation Relentless this year …
The Steve Irwin is on its way to Launceston, Tasmania for repairs and to go into dry dock on Friday.
The ship and around 18 crew will spend just over 3 weeks working with local company Southern Marine Ship Lift on servicing and repairing the anti-whaling vessel.
Alderman Jeremy Ball, acting Mayor, will be there to welcome them.
The ship last visited Launceston in 2007.
