Andrew Wilkie stands up for Tasmania and a price on carbon
The Independent Member for Denison, Andrew Wilkie, spoke against the repeal of the price on carbon in the House of Representatives this evening.
Among other things he lamented the decision by Tasmanian Senators to vote against Tasmania’s best interests, and in particular the fact that the repeal will cost Hydro Tasmania $70m a year and many jobs.
