Will Hodgman: Business Confidence Boost
The Liberal Government is committed to rebuilding the economy and boosting business confidence.
The latest Sensis Business Index report is evidence this is occurring.
Business confidence in Tasmania is now the highest in the country.
For the first time since 2006 Tasmanian small and medium enterprises have reported a positive rating of a State Government.
This is a massive U-turn in business confidence in the State Government, which fell to record lows under Labor and the Greens.
The survey also highlights that the largest increase in support for the policies of any government in the nation was recorded here in Tasmania.
While there is still a long way to go, this is a very encouraging report.
We went to the election with a clear plan to grow the economy and create jobs, and to support Tasmanian business. We are getting on with the job of doing it.
