Is Happiness Good For You?
Why is it that while our quality of life has increased significantly, over the last century, we seem to be less happy? In a thought-provoking event on 30 May, Sustainable Living Tasmania presents the first of a series on The Art of Happiness and asks ‘Is Happiness Good For You?’. Prof Bob Cummins, Professor of Psychology at Deakin University and international expert in well-being will discuss the latest research, including what makes us happy and the impact of happiness on our health.
“There is a lot of exciting research that’s being done on what makes us happy and we want to explore the link between well-being, living sustainably and happiness” said Lissa Villeneuve, Program Manager, Sustainable Living Tasmania (SLT).
“This event will explore the benefits of happiness in our personal, professional and community lives and we invite everyone interested in discovering these benefits to join us at this free event, supported by Inspiring Australia”, continuedLissa Villeneuve.
