The Nimbin Sustainable Living Hub education and resource Centre

Hello,

We are seeking your support and help to enable our community to construct The Nimbin Sustainable Living Hub education and resource Centre, Seven Seibly St.

The Nimbin community has raised $130,000 in the last 18 months on its own and we are now reaching out to environmentally aware companies, institutions and personalities to help us reach the construction phase of this ambitious global resource. We need only another $24,000 to own the land and begin the contruction phase of the project.

Our community has a great track record for getting things done, with the first community solar project operating since 2009, a comprhensive community sustainability plan that is reviewed and revised yearly and recently the Nimbin Neighborhood and Information centre won the Green Globe award for Community Sustainability.

We have 160,000+ visitors (national and international) come to Nimbin every year who can take away a positive experience of sustainability from this project.This will also be the first public building made of hemp in Australia, demonstrating hemp as a viable building product.
